Hello everyone, Indian Defence Academy Dehradun is a perfect academy for one's preparation for defence services . With regular classes offline and daily practice sessions online with supportive teachers gave a boost to my moral . CDS Exam Info
The Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) is an examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment of officers into the Indian Armed Forces. This examination is conducted twice a year and is open to both male and female candidates. CDSE is one of the most sought-after examinations in the country and has been held since 1954.
The CDSE exam is conducted in two stages – the written examination and the interview. The written examination consists of nine papers of objective type covering topics such as English, General Knowledge, Military Aptitude, Mathematics and Science. The written examination is conducted at various centres across the country. The interview is conducted by the Service Selection Board (SSB) and the candidate’s performance in this stage is taken into consideration for selection.
Thus, the CDSE is a comprehensive entrance examination which tests the knowledge and aptitude of the candidates for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers’ Training Academy.
