Entry: Appearing and clearing the NDA written exam conducted by UPSC, followed by SSB interview and medicals.
2. Through CDS (Combined Defence Services):
Qualification: Graduation in any discipline (with Physics and Math at 10+2 for the Navy).
Age: 19 to 24 years.
Gender: Male candidates (Women can apply for certain entries via SSC).
Entry: Written exam by UPSC, SSB Interview, and medicals.
3. 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry:
Qualification: 10+2 with 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Math.
Selection: Based on JEE (Main) scores.
4. INET & Other Direct Entries:
For graduate/post-graduate professionals, entries like INET, UES, SSC (Tech/IT/Logistics) are also available.
Physical & Medical Standards
Must be physically and mentally fit.
Good eyesight (unaided 6/6 for most branches).
Height: Minimum 157 cm (may vary for different regions).
No history of major illnesses or surgeries.
