  • Selection Process: Written exam → SSB Interview → Medical Test

  • Training: NDA Khadakwasla (3 years) + IMA Dehradun (1 year)

b) CDS Entry (After Graduation)

  • Eligibility: Graduation in any stream

  • Age Limit: 19 – 24 years

  • Exam Conducted By: UPSC

  • Training: Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun

c) Technical Entries (TES & TGC)

  • For students with PCM background (TES – after 12th) or Engineering graduates (TGC).

  • No written exam, direct SSB call based on academic scores.

d) NCC Special Entry

  • For NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders (Army Wing).

  • Direct SSB Interview, no written exam.

e) University Entry Scheme (UES)

  • For final year engineering students.

f) JAG Entry

  • For law graduates who wish to join the Judge Advocate General Branch.

2. Understand the Selection Process

Once you qualify through the written exam or meet eligibility (for direct entries), you’ll go through:

  • SSB Interview: 5-day rigorous personality, intelligence, and psychological tests.

  • Medical Examination: Fitness is crucial.

  • Merit List: Final selection is based on overall performance.

3. Get Ready for Training

If selected, you’ll be sent for training at:
